Cappadocia Green Tour:
9:45 am: Your journey commences with a breathtaking view over Goreme from Esentepe, providing a panoramic perspective of Goreme valley and the village, complete with its fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave houses.
Next, you’ll journey to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the best-preserved and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Explore the unique chambers found within an underground city, including stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, and wineries. You’ll even visit the second floor, where a missionary school and study rooms were once situated.
Travel to the enchanting Ihlara Valley, where you’ll find over a hundred rock-carved churches and homes lining the gorge. Take a leisurely walk along the river in the valley and explore the hidden churches. At Belisirma Village, situated by the river, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch.
After lunch, your journey continues to the Selime Monastery, a 13th-century marvel carved out of the rock by Christian monks. Make a stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama for an excellent photo opportunity of Selime Monastery, a location featured in the ‘Star Wars’ films.
At the conclusion of the tour, you’ll be returned to your hotel at approximately 5:00 pm.
